Cityscape workshop:
The four day workshop will focus on a combination of traditional and contemporary techniques to create studio urban landscape paintings. The course will consist of various demonstrations and lectures breaking down the process into simple steps allowing the participants to apply these ideas to their own work to give a greater understanding
.
SCHEDULE:
Wednesday from 11:00 to 14:00 to 16:00 to 19:00 h
Thursday from 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00 h
Friday from 11:00 to 14:00 h to 16:00 to 19:00 h
Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00 h to 16:00 to 19:00 h
Sunday: Day trip to Cádiz (optional)
DURATION: 24h
COST: $550 or 500 euro
CLASS SIZE: 7-15 people
THE WORKSHOP FEE INCLUDES:
-paid transportation to and from the island of Cádiz during a day trip on Sunday the 13th.
-Translation for Spanish speakers.
-Oderless minerl spirits
TRANSPORTATION- El Puerto de Santa Maria is a short distance from the Jerez de la Frontera Airport(about 27 Kilometers or 17 miles) and the trip can easily be made either by train(around 4 euros) or taxi (around 25-30 euros). Coming from Sevilla or Madrid there is a train that drops you off in the citycenter(NOTE: make sure to buy tickets in advance as it is tourist season):)
HOUSING: There are numerous hotels and Bed and Breakfasts located in the center of El Puerto de Santa Maria. Also, if you prefer there are hotels located on the beach not too far from the center of the city. My wife and I can help you find a place or you are welcome to find something through Air B&B or Bookings.com, etc.
